Holger Jacobsen is a passionate business leader, life-long learner and positive enthusiast who is the Industry Lead Healthcare at Google. Holger was born and raised in Germany. He studied business economics at the Universities of Wuerzburg and Hamburg, where he graduated with a master’s degree. Furthermore, he holds an international degree in marketing from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia and a leadership degree from the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

After graduation, he worked for more than fifteen years in the healthcare industry, holding various marketing, trade marketing, commercial excellence and sales positions at adidas, Reckitt Benckiser and GSK Consumer Healthcare.

In 2022, Holger joined Google as the Industry Lead Healthcare. In this role, he is responsible for leading Google’s efforts to organize the world’s healthcare information and make it universally accessible and useful.
